What to Expect
In April and September, the winemaker’s selections of wines will be announced — you will have the opportunity to modify the wine selections for your shipments if you prefer. You can let us know if you will be picking up your wines or if you would prefer to have them shipped to you.
Fall Club Allocation Dates
- Sept 14 – Last day to customize; confirm credit card & shipping address
- Sept 18 – Orders charged to card on file
- Sept 19 – Pickups begin in tasting room
- Sept 29 – UPS ships (21+ signature required; 3 attempts)

Is there a fee to join?
There is no fee to join. Your benefits begin as soon as you sign up. If you cancel before you receive your second required club allocation, you will be charged a $75 fee.
How do I join?
You can join in person at the winery, online, or by calling us at (231) 994-3188.
How much does it cost to join?
There is no charge to join. We will keep your credit card information on file, and you will be charged twice a year for your allocation.
How often do we receive allocations?
Wine Club allocations are available twice a year, in mid to late April and late September. Please call us to give the gift of membership (231) 994-3188 ext. 4.
Can I give a Wine Club membership as a gift?
Yes. Please call us at (231) 994-3188 ext 4 if you wish to do so.
How do you communicate with me about my Wine Club?
All communication about your membership is conducted via email. Please make sure we have your correct email address on file as this is how we notify we you about upcoming orders, charges, allocation availability, shipping dates, and more. Please login to your account to update your email address on file.
What happens if I decide to cancel?
As membership benefits begin immediately (including free tastings and discounts), members wishing to cancel their membership before their second required allocation, you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.
Allocations processed prior to the cancellation date are nonrefundable, even if not yet received. Once the membership is cancelled, all membership benefits will end.
After you receive your second allocation you may cancel at any time with no cancellation fees by calling (231) 994-3188 ext. 4 or by email at wineclub@auroracellars.com
Can I choose what wines I would like in my club allocation?
Yes. You may choose the wines you would like to receive. We will notify you 10-12 days prior to the club allocation period. You are able to change the wines in your allocation within your account. Wine Club allocations are chosen based on availability and release dates. Allocations may include club exclusives and pre-released wines.
What is my discount off wine purchases?
Proprietor Club Members receive 25% off wine and glass pours.
Somm Club Members receive 15% off wine and glass pours.
What if I can't be home for the delivery - can you ship to my place of work?
Yes. If possible, Aurora Cellars recommends shipping to a business address for prompt delivery.
UPS cannot deliver wine to PO boxes nor will UPS leave packages on the doorstop. All shipments must be signed for by someone 21 years or older. Once wine shipments leave our winery, you must contact UPS for delivery changes or issues.
What happens if I miss the delivery and the package is returned to the winery?
UPS will attempt to deliver the package three times. After the third failed attempt the order will be returned to the winery. You have the option to have the package held for pick up or reshipped for an additional fee. Please contact UPS directly for any delivery issues you may have.
What happens if I am charged for the wine, but I don't want it?
If you wish to cancel your membership and not receive the order, please contact us prior to us charging your account. Allocations processed prior to the cancellation date are nonrefundable, even if not yet received.
Can I switch from a Pickup Member to a Shipping Member?
Yes. If you need to change your Wine Club order preference from pickup to shipping, or vice versa, please login to your account and make this change before your order is charged. If you need to make a change after your order has been charged, please email wineclub@auroracellars.com.
